Privacy Policy of the Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plant ALMAR Sp. z o.o.
This Privacy Policy has been prepared and implemented to protect your personal data and to ensure that it is processed in accordance with applicable laws, including Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR).

II. Basic Information and Principles of Personal Data Processing
In the course of selling goods and operating our website, we collect your personal data, which is necessary for these activities, particularly for presenting our offer, placing and fulfilling orders, and conducting marketing activities. Your data may be collected by us in connection with:
- a request for an offer;
- the conclusion and performance of a contract;
- signing up for a product waiting list;
- using the contact form;
- subscribing to the newsletter;
- posting a comment on a product page or under a blog entry.
We collect information about users and their behavior primarily in the following ways:
- through data voluntarily entered into forms, which are then recorded in our systems;
- through the storage of cookies on users’ end devices, as further detailed later in our Privacy Policy.
We store the collected personal data within the territory of the European Union. Personal data is not transferred to third countries within the meaning of data protection regulations. This means that we do not send your data outside the European Union.
Your data may only be shared with entities cooperating with us under appropriate personal data processing agreements, providing services aimed at ensuring the best service for you and fulfilling your orders. We may entrust your data to entities providing the following services:
- data hosting (storage of data on servers and related services);
- courier services;
- postal operator services;
- legal and debt collection services;
- banking services;
- payment operator services;
- comment system operators;
- online chat solution operators;
- marketing services on behalf of the Controller;
- accounting services.
Data may also be disclosed to entities authorized by law, under generally applicable regulations, including Tax Offices, the Social Insurance Institution (ZUS), and other authorized public entities, within the scope of their legal powers.
We never transfer, sell, or exchange your data with other entities for marketing purposes, except for marketing agencies providing services on our behalf.
We process your personal data:
a) on the basis of a contract concluded when you purchase our goods (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR), to the extent necessary for the proper performance of the service provided to you, particularly for placing and fulfilling orders. We process such data for the purpose of placing and fulfilling orders;
b) based on your expressed consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). We process such data, in particular, to present commercial information, showcase current products in our offer, inform you about our new products or services, notify you about promotions, as well as to conduct marketing activities and better tailor our services to your needs. Providing consent is, of course, voluntary, and all consents you give can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal. You can withdraw your consent by sending us a statement via traditional mail to our correspondence address, by sending an email to kontakt@tkaninowelove.pl, and in the case of the newsletter, also by clicking the appropriate link located in the footer, labeled as “unsubscribe from the newsletter”;
c) based on our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), e.g., when the processing of your data is necessary to protect our rights or to demonstrate the correctness of the actions taken. We process such data, among others, for debt collection purposes, for documenting the acquisition of consents, etc.;
d) based on the necessity to fulfill legal obligations imposed on us (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR). We process such data, among others, to meet public-law obligations, including submitting tax statements and declarations.
We take care to protect your data, which is why we use, among other measures, data transmission encryption, an appropriate password policy, secure creation and storage of data backups, and regular updates of the software we use.
III. Your Rights under the GDPR
In accordance with the GDPR, you have the following rights:
- Right of access to data and to receive a copy
You may request at any time that we indicate what personal data we hold about you and ask for a copy of this data. - Right to rectify data
You may request at any time that we update or correct your data if you believe it is inaccurate. - Right to erasure of data
You may request at any time that your data be deleted from our database. We will do this as soon as possible. This right is limited with respect to data that we are required to store for tax purposes, as well as data necessary for pursuing or defending against legal claims, during the applicable statutory periods. - Right to object to the processing of data based on legitimate interests
You may object at any time to the processing of your personal data based on the Controller’s legitimate interests. In such cases, we will cease processing your data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds justifying the processing (e.g., for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims). We will inform you immediately if such grounds exist. - Right to restrict the processing of personal data
You may request at any time that we restrict the processing of your data to specific categories or purposes, particularly regarding marketing activities. If you request data restriction, we will comply with your request unless there is a legal basis for broader processing, in which case we will inform you promptly. - Right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office

You may request that we make your data available to another entity in a structured format. This applies only to the data we possess. We will endeavor to transfer such data according to your request to the designated entity, provided it is technically feasible and does not cause excessive difficulties.
IV. Personal Data within the Provided Services
We primarily process your personal data in order to provide services under the concluded contract (Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR). Your personal data is also necessary for managing your payments and handling complaints and warranty claims related to your services. We may also process your data based on our legitimate interests (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR), e.g., to handle potential claims, as well as to fulfill legal obligations imposed on us (Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR), including submitting required documents to ZUS and the Tax Office.
In this regard, we process the following categories of personal data:
a) contact details such as name and surname, address, tax identification number (NIP), e-mail address, and phone number;
b) payment information and payment history;
c) information regarding the provided services.
Your personal data shared with external entities is used solely for the purpose of providing services under the concluded contract. It is disclosed only to our service providers, particularly hosting service providers, companies handling and processing online payments.
We will process your personal data for as long as you remain our client. Data necessary for tax purposes will be retained for the period required by applicable law (i.e., no longer than 6 years). Additionally, we will store your personal data during the existence of any mutual claims, to the extent necessary for their pursuit under applicable law.
V. Personal Data for Marketing Purposes
If you give your consent, we will use your personal data to send you information and marketing offers via email or phone.
For this purpose, we will process the following categories of personal data:
- contact details such as name, surname, address, email address, and phone number.
If you create an account on our website, we will also process personal data provided in connection with this account, including your name, surname, address, navigation behavior on the site, and clicked elements.
We never share your personal data for marketing purposes unrelated to our services, nor do we sell or exchange it with third parties for purposes not associated with the provision of our services or the marketing of our own services.
Your personal data processed for marketing purposes is processed based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR). You have the right to withdraw your consent for the processing of your personal data and for receiving marketing information at any time. Upon withdrawal of consent, we will immediately cease sending any marketing offers. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before its withdrawal.
You can unsubscribe from receiving marketing information by sending an email to our contact address: biuro@almar.agro.pl or by clicking the appropriate link in the received email message.
We will store your personal data for marketing purposes until you withdraw your consent, but no longer than 3 years from the date the data was provided or from the deletion of your customer account on our website.
VI. Key Marketing Techniques
As the Controller of your data, we use statistical traffic analysis on the website through Google Analytics (Google Inc., based in the USA). We do not transfer personal data to the operator of this service, only anonymized information. This service relies on the use of cookies on the user’s end device. Regarding information about user preferences collected by the Google advertising network, users can view and edit information derived from cookies using the following tool: https://www.google.com/ads/preferences/
We use remarketing techniques that allow us to tailor advertising messages to user behavior on the website, which may give the impression that personal data is being used to track users. However, in practice, no personal data is transferred from the Controller to advertising operators. The technical condition for such actions is the enabled use of cookies.
We use the Facebook Pixel. This technology allows Facebook (Facebook Inc., based in the USA) to know that a registered user is using our Website. In this case, Facebook bases its actions on data for which it is the independent controller. We do not transfer any additional personal data to Facebook. This service relies on the use of cookies on the user’s end device.
VII. Profiling of Personal Data
Your personal data may be subject to profiling to best tailor the content delivered to your needs. Automated decisions will be made based on the analysis of certain characteristics, particularly for the purpose of analyzing or forecasting your expectations and needs as our customer. The result of such processing will include, among other things, technical support for the personal data processing process, fraud detection, and performance measurement.
VIII. Information about Cookies
1. The Service uses cookies.
2. Cookies (so-called “cookies”) are data files, specifically text files, which are stored on the User’s end device and are intended for use with the Service’s website. Cookies usually contain the name of the website from which they come, the time they are stored on the end device, and a unique number.
3. The entity placing cookies on the User’s end device and accessing them is the Service operator.
4. Cookies are used for the following purposes:
- Maintaining the user session on the Service (after logging in), so that the user does not have to re-enter their login and password on each subpage of the Service;
- Achieving the goals specified above in the section “Key Marketing Techniques.”
